2012 SUCCESS STORIES

BUSTER WOODLEY

Buster came to Freedom Farm after his mommy gave birth to him and his 7 brothers & sisters at a warehouse near Interstate 65. Buster and his siblings were fostered by one of the board members for Freedom Farm - Vickie Harris and her mom Gail Weems.
Buster was immediately loved for his easy-going personality and and sweet kisses. They fell in love with him so much, that they intended to adopt him into their family.

But fate changed all of that when on one of the Freedom Farm adoption days at PetSmart, a wonderful lady and her husband came to see one of Buster's siblings that was up for adoption but she had already been spoken for. The couple was so disappointed and were about to leave when Vickie and her mother looked down at Buster. There he sat - tail wagging - looking at the couple as they walked away. Nobody quite knows what Buster had in mind, but Buster caught up with them and asked if they might be able to fall in love with him instead.

And as they say, the rest is history. Buster is now Buster Woodley living the life of luxury with his new mommy and daddy. His mom Dacia said, "When we first got Buster, we were already smitten and could not even dream that we could love him more, but every day, we do!! He is our "little man"!

This is Buster - now much bigger and enjoying the good life! We know we made the right decision and let Buster pick his family - we think he knew just what he was doing. Congratulations Buster!!

PENELOPE

Penelope is doing great! My son Adores her, and she sleeps with him everynight. It took about a week for my other cat to take to her, but now they run and play together all the time. But the best connection she has made is with our yellow lab, Tigin. It was love at first sight on both parts. I have attached a cute picture of her new love =) Thank you for all that you do for the animals. I am very greatful there are people like you that are willing to give them the time and attention they need to find good homes. I have some friends that recently had to put down their 14 year old dog. They were so impressed with our experience that they keep checking on your website for their future pet.
Thanks again, Nicole

MACCHIATO

Here is Macchiato with his new Boxer roommate, Mugsy! His new mom Niki says:" He has adjusted very well. My 3 dogs, 2 chihuahuas & a boxer, love him and they play all the time. We named him Biskit cause he's always making them. My Ragdoll cat cleans him. We love him very much.

LOLA

Here is Mocha, now called "Lola" in her new home. Katie, her new adoptive mom says: "I'm loving her more and more every day! She is getting along with my little dog. She's growing fast and eating alot as she is a growing girl! Thank you for giving me the joy of Lola!"
