Louie
Hello there! My name is Louie and I am looking for my forever home to retire in! I am a 10-year-old schnauzer looking for some TLC! I am neutered, had all my shots and am heartworm negative. I do have an enlarged heart, but I don’t have a heart murmur as of yet. I do have a bit of the old arthritis and will need someone to help me lose some weight to help ease the pain of my achy joints. I really like people and other dogs, but I don’t like it when other dogs try to mess with my dinner! If you are looking for a cool older fella like me, that’s looking for lots of fun times, exercise and love,
then call FFAS today and bring me home!

Bebe
Hey there, my name is Bebe. I am an extra special pooch that needs a extra special forever home. I am a “senior” at 10 years old, but still have enough energy to chase the cats at my foster home! I have had a troubled past, as I was found in the middle of a busy road, but wonderful people rescued me so I am ready to find that forever home I deserve.
I have a few health problems though so I will need a very loving home to take care of me. I have to take a pill everyday for Cushions Disease (you can learn more about cushions disease on the internet or contacting FFAS), I have a few growths on my body that need to be removed, but only the one on my right eye hurts, and I’m really good when my Foster Momma puts the ointment on it. I also have a kidney infection, but my Foster Momma is treating that right now. So, soon I will be in my best condition, and then and only then can I be adopted out. So, it might be a while, but I am worth it! Foster Momma is working with me on housetraning. I tell her when I need to go out and I tell her when I’m ready to come in, and I have to potty quite a bit. I don’t bark much either, pretty much only when I want in and outside.
I have been spayed and given my shots and tested negative for heartworms, so that’s a plus! I’m laid back, calm cool and collected pooch that gets along great with other pooches, not sure about kids, and I’d rather chase a cat than snuggle it. But I’m almost ready for that home I deserve. Could you be the right home for me? If you would like to care for me in my golden years in return for heart full of love for you, then call Freedom Farm today!
Also – since I am a special case with Freedom Farm, and have higher than average medical bills, I would like to ask that if you can’t adopt me, then you can help me by donating to my medical fund. The Freedom Farm people are always greatufl when someone wants to help one of us.

Gidget
My foster mom calls me Gidget,
even though I can’t hear her. Seems I’m deaf, but my vision is good.
I’m about 11 years old and about 11 pounds, just the right size for a Shih Tzu. I’m Heartworm negative,
had all my shots and was spayed. I was pretty sick, but fine now. I had a mammary gland tumor, a uterine infection,
a huge polyp and really bad teeth. All the surgeries are completed and I’m recovering well. When I need to go outside, I run to the door and hope someone’s looking. I never bark, except when I’m not with someone. I watch the cats, but am afraid of them cause they’re bigger than me. My foster mom has two other dogs and we get along fine. I really need someone to love me and make my remaining years as warm and comfortable as possible. In return, I’ll follow you everywhere and spend every moment by your side.

Courtsey Posting for Cagney (male black and white) and Lacey (female seal point) came from the same litter born around August of 1997. I got them as kittens in October of 1997. Cagney weighed 17.7 pounds and Lacey weighed 13.6 pounds at the vet visit about a month ago. Cagney loves attention, Lacey is a little more picky. She likes to be petted but she doesn't seek you out as much as Cagney does. Lacey loves to have her belly rubbed, I think maybe the scar from when she was spayed might itch or something, that's the spot she really likes. She also likes to lay under your legs if you make a tent with your knees up under the sheets. Cagney will head butt you to be petted. Both are declawed (front only,) fixed and strictly indoor cats. They like a small amount of Nine Lives canned cat food in the morning, about a teaspoonful, they share it from the same saucer, they like the kind with gravy and bites of chicken,
beef or veal. They don't like the ground up variety of cat food. They eat Iams multiple cats dry food the rest of the time. Lacey likes a chicken flavored treat, any variety, when I get home from work. Sometimes Cagney will come to the kitchen for one as well but most of the time he skips it. Cagney is not crazy about other pets but with time he might acclimate. Lacey gets more neurotic as time goes by if she's placed with an unknown cat so they need to go to a home with no other indoor cats or dogs. I have had ferrets in the past that only had limited exposure to the cats and the cats mostly avoided them with no big problems when I let the ferrets out in common areas but the ferrets were not free roam. Neither have had any health issues. Please contact Cathy Pardue at cathyjp7@gmail.com if interested in adopting either or
both cats.
